Itinerary
A warm Sri Lanka smile and welcome by our own Transco Travels representative on arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport, you will get your first taste of warm Sri Lankan hospitality
Leave the airport and proceed to the Negombo.
Dinner and overnight stay at Negombo.
After breakfast visit Pinnawala.
Pinnawala is a small town in Sri Lanka, located in the Sabaragamuwa Province. It is famous for the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, which is one of the country’s most popular tourist attractions. The orphanage was established in 1975 to care for and protect orphaned and abandoned elephants, as well as those injured in the wild.
Visitors to Pinnawala can observe and interact with the elephants, watch them being bathed in the nearby river, and learn about their conservation efforts. It’s a great place to see and learn about Sri Lanka’s elephants up close, as well as support their welfare. Apart from the elephant orphanage, Pinnawala is also known for its lush green landscapes and serene environment, making it a pleasant place to visit for nature lovers and tourists exploring the cultural and natural wonders of Sri Lanka. On completion proceed to Dambulla and check in at the Hotel.

After breakfast visit Sigiriya.
Sigiriya, also known as the Lion Rock, is an ancient rock fortress and archaeological site located in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. It is one of the most iconic and visited historical sites in the country. Here are some key details about Sigiriya. The history of Sigiriya dates back to the 5th century AD.
On completion return to hotel or proceed for Village Tour in Hiriwaduwa.
Optional – Hiriwaduwa Village Tour – Hiriwadunna is a tiny rural village located close to the town of Habarana. Located in North Central Province North Central Province, Sri Lanka, Hiriwadunna is home to an impressive selection of attractions and experiences, making it well worth a visit.
Dinner and overnight stay at Dambulla.
After breakfast visit Dambulla Cave Temple.
The Dambulla temple complex comprises five caves which have been converted into shrine rooms, images of the Buddha, and over 1,500 ceiling murals. The caves are at the base of a 150m high rock built by King Valagambahu who took refuge in it when exiled from Anuradhapura in the 1st century BC.
Thereafter proceed to Matale Spice Garden.
Explore the fragrant and colorful world of the Matale spice garden, a hidden gem that’s bursting with exotic flavors and scents. Walk through the lush gardens and learn about the wide variety of spices and herbs that grow here, from cinnamon and cardamom to vanilla and nutmeg. Whether you’re a foodie, a nature lover, or simply looking for a unique and immersive cultural experience, the Matale Spice Garden is a must-visit destination that will tantalize your senses and leave you with a newfound appreciation for the flavors of Sri Lanka. Proceed to Kandy and visit Temple of Tooth Relic. The temple which carries a lot of value to Buddhists all over the world also has immense cultural value. The architecture is of unique Kandyan architectural style with a combination of the unique style used to build “Dalada Mandira” the shrines which housed the Sacred Tooth Relic previously in other kingdoms.
Thereafter check in to the Hotel .

After Breakfast at the hotel leave for a visit to the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens.
Royal Botanical Gardens Peradeniya are about 5.5 km to the west of the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. In 2016, the garden was visited by 1.2 million locals and 400,000 foreign visitors. It is near the Mahaweli River. It is renowned for its collection of orchids.
Later proceed to Nuwara Eliya.
Nuwara Eliya is a charming city in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. It’s often referred to as the “Little England” of Sri Lanka due to its cool climate and colonial architecture. Here are some key details about Nuwara Eliya. Nuwara Eliya offers a unique and refreshing experience, whether you’re interested in enjoying the cool climate, exploring natural beauty, or learning about the history of tea in Sri Lanka.
Dinner and overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast proceed to Train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella.
Nanu Oya and Ella are both locations in Sri Lanka, and there is a scenic train ride that connects them. Experience a train ride in Ella and enjoy excursion of mountains, and lush landscapes. including the famous Nine Arch Bridge.
Later proceed to Mini Adam’s Peak.
Mini Adam’s Peak is a popular tourist attraction located near Ella in Sri Lanka. It is a smaller version of the larger Adam’s Peak, which is a prominent pilgrimage site in the country. Mini Adam’s Peak is known for its relatively easy hike and offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Post the tour of Ella proceed to the Yala.
After breakfast proceed to Yala Safari. Yala National Park, also known as Yala Wildlife Sanctuary, is one of Sri Lanka’s most famous and well-loved national parks. Located in the southeast part of the country, it is renowned for its diverse wildlife and stunning natural landscapes.
Late in the evening transfer to Colombo airport to board flight back home.
